October 18, 2018

Nominated by Udac, Sir Benedict’s Tavern on the Lake has been named a 2018 Outstanding Disability Employer.

For the last 10 years, Udac and Sir Ben’s have worked together to provide meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

“In our employment services program, we do something called Discovery, where we work with the individual and we find out where their unique talents and abilities lie,” says Udac’s Employment Services Manager, John McLoughlin. “And we really try and hone in on what the perfect fit is for a career out in the greater community. And it gives them a chance to find meaningful work.”
